Privacy Policy — Screen Awake

Screen Awake (“the App”) helps you keep the display from sleeping by
toggling Android’s system screen-off timeout (infinite ↔ restore previous)
from the home screen and via a Quick Settings tile. The App is an
unofficial DIY helper — not a manufacturer always-on display feature.
Data

Language and theme preferences are processed and stored
on device.

Awake on/off state and the previous screen-off timeout value are stored
on device so the tile and app stay in sync. We do not
operate a server that receives these settings.
- We do not operate a personal account system.

The App may show ads via Yandex Mobile Ads, which may
collect device advertising identifiers and approximate technical data per
Yandex’s privacy policy.
Permissions

Modify system settings — required to change the
screen-off timeout.

No camera, microphone, precise location, or photo-library/storage access
is required for the core feature. Unused media and activity-recognition
permissions are blocked in the Android build where applicable.

Network access is used to load ads. The timeout toggle itself works
offline once Write Settings is granted.
